Through Prayer, You Can Commune with God, the Creator of the Universe!
Wednesday Jul 11, 2018
Wednesday Jul 11, 2018
Message Summary: Prayer is your conduit for communion with God, in His Throne Room, to invite His help to your situations. The best way to learn how to have this communion with God is to just do it, using no magic words, although the words of Scripture are powerful and work strongly. Just pray with your heart in conversation with God. Jonah, in Jonah 2:1-2, models for us that no matter how deep the situational hole, into which we have dug for ourselves, we can call on God, the Creator of the Universe, for our help: “Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish, saying, “I called out to the LORD, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice.".
Today’s Affirmation: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be anxious. (Philippians 4:6f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:14).

Where Your Treasure Is, Your Heart Is, Also
Tuesday Jul 10, 2018
Tuesday Jul 10, 2018
Message Summary: God could care less about our money. God is concerned about our hearts. God is concerned about the purity of our hearts and if our treasure has been put in the wrong places. If our hearts are in the right place, then our money will be in the right place. As Jesus tells us in Mathew 6:19-21: "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Sadly, too many of our hearts are filled with greed and envy; therefore, our treasure has become our God.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Addictions. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Self-Control. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).

Are You Ready for Something Spiritually to Happen in Your Life?
Sunday Jul 08, 2018
Sunday Jul 08, 2018
Message Summary: Many do not see much spiritually going on in their lives, and they must ask the question: “Am I ready for something spiritual to happen in my life; am I dressed and ready for service?”. Are we ready to say: “Lord, here am I; send me.”? The call of the Holy Spirit to us may be diverse: becoming a missionary in a third world country; to being a Christian business leader; to taking a stand for Jesus that is not politically correct. Can you be as ready as Isaiah when he said to God’s call, in Isaiah 6:8: “I heard the voice of the Lord: ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said: ‘Lord, here am I; send me.’”? If you are not ready, why not?
Today’s Affirmation: I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! (Luke 11:13).

Share God’s Word Through Your Personal Relationships
Friday Jul 06, 2018
Friday Jul 06, 2018
Message Summary: We share the Word of the Lord with people that we know. We open stories of our life situations; and the people we know, with whom we have relationships, will ask us questions. From these conversational questions comes a natural discourse about our relationship with Jesus in our lives: “Because I am a follower of Jesus . . .”. In Mark 5:19-20, Jesus was very explicit that we are to go to our “friends” and tell them of Jesus’ good news: “’Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.’ And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.". Go; make Disciples!
Today’s Affirmation: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Inconsistencies. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Faithfulness. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).

God Is the Solution for Our Uncertainty in Our Institutions
Thursday Jul 05, 2018
Thursday Jul 05, 2018
Message Summary: Are our governmental leaders leading us off the cliff, or have they already led us of the cliff? The related uncertainty in our government, economic system, cultural institutions, and in our interactions with others have brought fear, anger and hostility to millions of Americans. As Christians, we can look to John 14:1 in which Jesus tells us: "Let not let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me.". In times like these, we can be reminded of where our loyalties are and where our loyalties should be. Also, in times of uncertainty, our intimacy with God can be deepened -- God is still on the throne of the Universe.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Inadequacy. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Abundance. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).

We Need a Spiritual Awakening to Save Souls AND Our Way of Life
Wednesday Jul 04, 2018
Wednesday Jul 04, 2018
Message Summary: : A National Spiritual Awakening is needed not only to save souls from eternal damnation but to save our way of life. Our way of life is slipping quickly away from us. Our way of life is not just about elections and politics. The risk to our way of life relates to all of us. This risk will only be addressed by a change in our hearts, and the hearts of the people will not change until we have a true spiritual awakening. As Jesus tells us in John 14:1: “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”. Additionally, Isaiah tells us in Isaiah 35:4: “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, My citizenship is in Heaven. (Philippians 3:20f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:14).

God Will Tell You How to Pray for Your Situation
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
Message Summary: If you listen and commune with God in your prayers, he will tell you how and to whom you should direct your prayers -- you must pray in faith that God knows what personal situation you or someone else has in their life; and He will direct your prayers for a situation or a person. In John 14:12-14, Jesus challenges us to” pray” and to “ask”: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.". Always pray and do not give up -- be persistent in your prayers.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Anxiety. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Peace. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).
