The Excitement of a New Follower of Jesus!!!
Saturday Aug 11, 2018
Saturday Aug 11, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: Those of us who have been brought up in the church or have been in the church for a while can get caught up in our personal righteousness. We get used to the presence of God and His peace in our lives. However, we then encounter a new follower of Jesus. This new Christian, before their conversion, were living in the ways of the world without God’s peace. Now, these new believers are so excited with their new life; and their outward manifestation of their conversion may not “fit” with our personal Christian behavioral norms. Sadly, too many modern Christians judge and condemn these new, excited believers for their enthusiasm rather than loving, encouraging, and embracing these new followers of Jesus. We can learn from Jesus’ rebuke of the Pharisees, who exhibited similar non-supportive behavior of Christians in Matthew 5:20: “For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”. We need to welcome these new excited followers of Jesus as members of our Non-Exclusive global fellowship as a Christian.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I AM RIGHTEOUS IN GOD’S EYES. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21).

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Procrastination. We Pray to a Single Triune Being – God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit
Thursday Aug 09, 2018
Thursday Aug 09, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: As Paul writes in Ephesians 4:1-6: “There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift.”. God IS Father, IS Son and IS Holy Spirit. Jesus told the crowd in the Temple; and He tells us, as it is recorded for us now by the Apostle John, in John 10:25,30: “Jesus answered them, ‘I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me . . . I and the Father are one.’”. Also, Jesus provides more insights to our Trinitarian relationship with God in John 14:18-20: “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.". God is one God, but He is in three natures: God is Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. When we pray, we are praying to one triune being – God, the Creator of the Universe.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Past Failures. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Grace. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).

You Cannot Pray in Your Pride
Wednesday Aug 08, 2018
Wednesday Aug 08, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: We are all sinners, and we only are only able to be saved from eternal death by God' mercy and Grace. Our prideful self-sufficiency will prevent us from entering God’s throne room. We able to come to God because of His mercy. As Paul tells us in Romans 8:26: “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words." Also, in Mark 7:20-23, Jesus provides His perspective regarding pride: “And he said, ‘What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.’”. Pride takes many forms, but pride always puts a barrier between us and God – especially in our prayer life.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I can do what He asks of me. (Philippians 4:13). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14).

What Are Your Life Preferences?
Tuesday Aug 07, 2018
Tuesday Aug 07, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: We need to submit our life preferences to the God. By submitting our life preferences to the Lord, He can help us to understand the life path that our preferences will lead. Paul, in 1 Corinthians 9:24, tells us that our Life Preferences need an overarching focus: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.". Life preferences are not necessarily sins, but they can close doors on our life. In Matthew 10:37-39, Jesus provides a context from which we can assess life preference choices: “Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.".
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Compulsions. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Patience. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).

Jesus Heals Your Brokenness
Monday Aug 06, 2018
Monday Aug 06, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: From all the brokenness of the human family, it is in Jesus that all the needed healing can and will take place. Repent; change; and do what is right. When people are right with the Lord, there is generational healing. How can a father, who is not right with God, make things right with His son? It is distressing when men, professing to be Christians and to be “right with God”, ignore their families. Part of what the Lord does for us is reconciliation, redemption, and healing. As God tells us through Isaiah 44:22: “I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.".
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Hatred. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Love. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).

Becoming God’s Treasure
Sunday Aug 05, 2018
Sunday Aug 05, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: God is making us into pearls of great value. However, some of us are upset about our life difficulties or issues in our relationships. We need to allow the Lord to use our life circumstances; and if we are obedient and submissive to Him, the Lord will turn our situations into a life of beauty. Alternatively, when we encounter these negative situations in our lives, we can become bitter. On the other hand, we can submit and obey the Lord, thereby, permitting the Lord to turn our lives and life situations into pearls of beauty and lives of great value; and, also, we will know more of the presence of Jesus in our lives. As Paul tells us in Philippians 1:21: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.". Remember, the Prophet Joel tells us, in Joel 2:13b, about the character of God: “he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.".
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! (Luke 11:13).

Are You on the Road to Personal Destruction?
Saturday Aug 04, 2018
Saturday Aug 04, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: God has told us that we are His children and citizens of Heaven. God has given us the Holy Spirit as a pledge of our inheritance as His children. Also, God gave us the Holy Spirit provide us with the power to live Spiritual lives. However, far too many of us continue to live and to act as “enemies of the Cross of Christ” by having our mind focused on earthly things and our belly as the lord of our life. If this picture of life actions and focus describes you, then you very well may be on the road to destruction. If so, then return to Jesus and His way of doing things -- His pattern of discipleship, servanthood, and submission. Paul, in Philippians 3:18-20, defines an “enemy of the Cross of Christ: “For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.". Have your life focus driven by the realization that we are His children and citizens of Heaven; therefore, we and our lives are all precious to God since He sacrificed so much to adopt us as His children.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will seek God’s perspective on my situation. For I know that in all things God works together for good to those of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (From Romans 8:28).

Friday Aug 03, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: As Followers of Jesus, we are "In Christ" -- God looks at us and sees Jesus in us. Throughout the Epistles we find: "In Christ" or "In Him". In Galatians 3:14, Paul tells us that our faith in Jesus makes us “In Christ” and recipients of God’s Covenant with Abraham: “so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.". Also, Paul goes even further, in Galatians 3:25-28, to tell us that, through our faith in Jesus, we no longer need any kind of intermediary because we are “In Christ” and we have a personal relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe: “But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.”. The benefit our position "In Christ", as Christians, is that when God looks at us He sees Jesus, the Son; therefore, He then sees us as His sons and daughters.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Inconsistencies. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Faithfulness. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).
