MESSAGE SUMMARY: We should share the Word of the Lord with people that we know. When you communicate stories of your life situations and experiences with the people you know and with whom you have relationships, they will ask you questions. From these conversational questions comes a natural discourse about your faith and relationship with Jesus in your life because you are a follower of Jesus. In Mark 5:19-20, Jesus was very explicit that we are to go to our “friends” and tell them of Jesus’ good news: “’Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.’ And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.". Therefore, Jesus expects you to go and to make Disciples while sharing God’s Word through your personal relationships!
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Hatred. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Love. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).

When Someone Asks You: “Who is Jesus?”; What do You Say?
Sunday Jan 06, 2019
Sunday Jan 06, 2019
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM A CHILD OF GOD. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. (John 1:12f).

In a World of Hurting and Troubled People, How Are You Blessing Others?
Tuesday Jan 01, 2019
Tuesday Jan 01, 2019
MESSAGE SUMMARY: God has blessed us so that we might be a blessing to others, and He has healed us so that we might provide God's healing powers to others. He has saved us so that we might be His ambassadors - we are in a world of hurting people, and we have the answer; but we keep it to ourselves in the way we live and in not speaking about Jesus. Isaiah prophesized, in Isaiah 11:1-2, about the coming of the Christ five hundred years before Jesus birth: “There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.". In 1 Thessalonians 5:3-11, Paul is telling us that the un-Godly will be taken away to their judgment and the righteous will be left to enter the Kingdom. Therefore, the primary message of Advent is to keep serving and watching. We must keep doing what the Lord has given us to do while we are serving Him, watching, and keeping ready. Walk the walk and share Jesus with others.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Self-centeredness. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Love. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).

Are You Embarrassed to Share the Lord’s Word to Your Family and Friends?
Tuesday Oct 02, 2018
Tuesday Oct 02, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: The Apostil Peter, in his sermon in Acts 10:42-43, admonished all followers of Jesus to witness the Gospel: “And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”. Most of us are most effective in sharing the Lord’s Word through our relationships with the people whom we know. When we get to know someone, and they get to know us, they will, sooner or later, ask us a question. In answering this question from our relationship, we can answer, from Romans 10:1, as a follower of Jesus: “Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.". This response is built on our personal relationship, and it is natural and open.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Addictions. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Self-Control. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).

God Has Blessed You. Are You a Blessing to Others?
Friday Aug 24, 2018
Friday Aug 24, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: God has blessed and healed us so that we might bless and bring God’s healing powers to others. God saved us so that we might be His ambassadors to others. God’s Message to Israel, in Leviticus 26:11-13, is the same message that He has for us, though Jesus, today -- “I am the LORD your God”: “I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people. I am the LORD your God . . .”. There are people all around us that are in such pain and agony, and God has given us the answer; however, we are prone to keep God’s answer to ourselves. We keep God’s answer to ourselves by not speaking of our faith to others. Additionally, we keep God’s answer to ourselves, often, in a negative way by the way we live, act, and by the way we treat one another. Walk the walk and talk the talk, thereby, sharing God’s blessings and healing powers with others.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Evil Ways. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Goodness. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).

Do You Know Someone Who Has Walked Away from God?
Wednesday Jul 25, 2018
Wednesday Jul 25, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: Is there anything we can do for someone with a calloused heart or who has walked away from God because they weren’t discipled? Yes, we must start by praying for them – asking God to move in their lives; asking God to intervene in their life situations; asking God to break up the hardness of their heart. Also, for this person, we must build a better relationship of trust and caring love. In Mathew 18:12-13, Jesus presents God’s perspective regarding the pursuit of even one person that has walked away: “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." No matter the hardness of a person’s heart, who has walked away from God, they will respond to our initiatives based on love and trust. However, so many of us Christians are so focused on doing our religious or spiritual things and keeping our “busy” schedules that we don’t have time to love and care for others. Why?
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will serve others (Philippians 2:3f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14).

What are We Doing About Godless People Slipping in Among Us?
Tuesday May 01, 2018
Tuesday May 01, 2018
This Sunday’s Sermon: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: “Life in the Spirit – Part 1: Baptized with the Holy Spirit”, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/.
Message Summary: Certain men, whose condemnation was written about long ago, have secretly slipped in among us (i.e. into Christian institutions); they are Godless men who changed the Grace of our God into a license for immorality and denied Jesus as the Christ. In the Parables of Mathew 13:19, Jesus tells us: “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.”. Jesus’ “Parable of the Sower”, in Mathew 13:18-23, applies to us and offers us a challenge to live the Christian faith, or not? Before His Ascension, Jesus instructed His Apostles, and us, in His Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20: “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”. Are we going to follow Jesus and obey his Great Commission to “make disciples”, or not?
Today’s Affirmation: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Despair. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Joy. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).
Scripture Reference (ESV): Mathew 13:18-23; Jude 3-16; Mathew 13:31-32; Mathew 28:18-20.
