TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be ashamed of the Gospel. I will not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes (including me). (From Romans 1:160

If You Have Deviated from God, Return to Him; and He Will Return to You
Wednesday Feb 13, 2019
Wednesday Feb 13, 2019
MESSAGE SUMMARY: From all the brokenness of the human family, it is in Jesus that all the needed healing can and will take place. Repent; change; and do what is right. When people are right with the Lord, there is generational healing. How can a father, who is not right with God, make things right with His son? It is distressing when men, professing to be Christians and to be “right with God”, ignore their families. Part of what the Lord does for us is reconciliation, redemption, and healing. As God tells us through Isaiah 44:22: “I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.". Also, God speaks through the Prophet Joel in Joel 2:13b: “Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.".
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, Nothing compares with knowing Jesus. (Philippians 3:7f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14).

Do You Know Jesus and the Power of His Death and Resurrection?
Sunday Feb 10, 2019
Sunday Feb 10, 2019
MESSAGE SUMMARY: By accepting Jesus, we can be born of the Holy Spirit and have our sins forgiven by His sacrificial death on the cross. Paul explains, in Philippians 3:9b-12, that Jesus “has made me His own”: ‘but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. Straining Toward the Goal. Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own’.”. Amidst suffering and loss; economic uncertainty; and family crises, we can still celebrate and rejoice because we know that He has given us life and life eternal. We know that God is with us and He will never leave us.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM A FORGIVEN. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9).

While You Are Still a Sinner, Jesus Died for You
Wednesday Nov 28, 2018
Wednesday Nov 28, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: While we were and are still sinners, Jesus the Christ died for us. God loves you exactly where you are; God loves you no matter what you said about Him; and He loves you no matter what you have done. In Romans 5:8-11, Paul confirms God’s unconditional love for us: “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.". Therefore, no one, including you, can separate you from the love of God.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be anxious. (Philippians 4:6f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14).

Through Jesus, You May Receive Mercy and Find Grace to Help in Your Time of Need
Saturday Sep 01, 2018
Saturday Sep 01, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: The author of Hebrews, in Hebrews 4:14-16, identifies Jesus, for Christians, as the sinless, yet tempted, God-Man who is our Great High Priest: “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Jesus is the perfect and Great High Priest; therefore, it is important to know that we can approach His Throne of Grace with confidence because Jesus is merciful. It is important to reflect upon Jesus being tempted as a human – like us. By his being tempted as our Great High Priest, we can receive mercy and find grace in our times of need.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will seek God’s perspective on my situation. For I know that in all things God works together for good to those of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (From Romans 8:28).

What Is the Cost of Your Sins Without God’s Grace?
Monday Aug 27, 2018
Monday Aug 27, 2018
MESSAGE SUMMARY: Paul, in Romans 6:23, tells us: “For the wages of sin is {eternal} death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.". Eternal death is eternal separation from God for eternity. God demonstrates His love for us that while we are still sinners, He sacrificed His Son Jesus on the Cross. During the days leading up to Jesus’ death and Resurrection (i.e. Holy Week) He prayed, in John 17:1b-5, to God and His prayer tells us why God’s Grace and His sacrifice was worth so much to us – our Eternal Life: “. . . he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, ‘Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.’". God made The Way for His divine justice to be satisfied through the Passover Lamb -- Jesus. Therefore, we have The Way from death to Eternal Life – Jesus.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Loneliness. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Presence. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
