Get Out of Debt; Don’t Be a Slave to Debt

Message Summary: We don’t realize how we can become enslaved to debt – it’s so easy today. In Romans 13:8, Paul tells us: “Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.”. While debt will not terminate our Salvation, it can bring hurt and potential destruction to us and to our families. In Mathew 7:27-29, Jesus tells us: “And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”. Get out of debt, and keep your eyes upon Jesus.

 

Today’s Affirmation: I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ,  I will seek God’s perspective on my situation.  For I know that in all things God  works together for good to those of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (From Romans 8:28).
