When the difficulties arise and you are tempted to walk away from your faith and you are tempted to doubt God, remember that God is faithful – don’t give up your faith, Paul tells us in Philippians 4:6-7: “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." – in times of trouble, point with your faith to Jesus.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM FORGIVEN. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9).

Christ’s Sacrifice: A Remedy for Our Sin We Could Not Do for Ourselves

This Sunday’s Sermon: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: “The Resurrection: Part 1”, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/
Message Summary: The purpose of Jesus’ death on the cross was to sacrifice himself to provide us a sacrifice, a blood sacrifice, for our sins which we could not do for ourselves. In Romans 5:18-21, Paul succinctly explains Jesus’ unique role that only Jesus could play in our Justification and Salvation – a role that begins with God’s Grace: “Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.". Jesus’ blood made the death He gave provide restitution; make atonement; and pay the penalty of our sins. Someone must pay for our sins – either we must pay, or Jesus does pay. If we pay, it means eternal condemnation and alienation from God, If Jesus pays, it means personal forgiveness and an eternal personal relationship with Him. Jesus death and resurrection were for the forgiveness of our sins.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be ashamed of the Gospel. I will not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes (including me). (From Romans 1:16).
Scripture Reference (ESV): Romans 8:18-25; Habakkuk 2:4; John 10:7-18; Psalms 89:1-52.

What Does It Mean to Be a “Citizen of Heaven”?
Friday Apr 06, 2018
Friday Apr 06, 2018
This Sunday’s Sermon: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: “The Resurrection: Part 1”, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/.
Message Summary: First of all, the moment you become a follower of Jesus, you have immediate Eternal Life; and you become a Citizen of Heaven. Jesus tells us, in John 5:24, that His followers have Eternal Life and are Citizens of Heaven here on earth in their earthly lives: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.". As Christians and Citizens of Heaven, we know that the Lord is coming back -- either to greet us when we die or before we die. For most of us, however, our vision of Heaven is clouded by looking backwards; therefore, the return of Jesus does not have any power in our life. Paul reinforces the return of the Lord of Heaven in Philippians 1:6: “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.". When He returns, we will put on our spiritual bodies, as promised. As Jesus tells us in Matthew 4:17: “From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’”.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, Because I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Evil Ways. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Goodness. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).
Scripture Reference (ESV): 1 Peter 1:1-18; 1 Corinthians 11:23-27; Luke 22:20; Psalms 88:1-18.

God Will Tell You How to Pray for a Situation Concerning You
Thursday Apr 05, 2018
Thursday Apr 05, 2018
This Sunday’s Sermon: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: “The Resurrection: Part 1”, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/.
Message Summary: If you listen and commune with God in your prayers, he will tell you how and to whom you should direct your prayers -- you must pray in faith that God knows what personal situation you or someone else has in their life; and He will direct your prayers for a situation or a person. In John 14:12-14, Jesus challenges us to” pray” and to “ask”: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.". Always pray and do not give up -- be persistent in your prayers.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Lust. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Perfect Provision. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
Scripture Reference (ESV): Romans 1:8-12; Matthew 6:5-15; Psalms 69:13; Psalms 87:1-7.

Be Ready, for the Day of the Lord Will Come Like a Thief in the Night
Wednesday Apr 04, 2018
Wednesday Apr 04, 2018
This Sunday’s Sermon: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: “The Resurrection: Part 1”, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/.
Message Summary: Be ready for either your earthly death or the Lord’s return. In 1 Thessalonians 5:1-2, Paul writes to the Christians at the church in Thessalonica: “Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So, then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.”. Make yourself ready and keep ready!
Today’s Affirmation: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, God is working His will in my life (Philippians 2:13). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:14).
Scripture Reference (ESV): 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; Romans 5:18-21; 1 Corinthians 15:52-58; Psalms 86:1-17.

Jesus Wants to Bring Healing to the Aches and Wounds of Our Souls
Tuesday Apr 03, 2018
Tuesday Apr 03, 2018
This Sunday’s Sermon: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: “The Resurrection: Part 1”, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/.
Message Summary: Jesus knows the aches and wounds of our souls, and He wants to bring us healing. He doesn’t want us living in pain, heartache, or emptiness, as the Apostle Luke tells us in Luke 9:10-11: “On their return the apostles told him all that they had done. And he took them and withdrew apart to a town called Bethsaida. When the crowds learned it, they followed him, and he welcomed them and spoke to them of the kingdom of God and cured those who had need of healing.". We are in an “instant society”, but healing is a process; and it may take a long time. Sometimes God wants us to wait, or He may see our need for healing differently from us; but, in our personal relationship with God, we must pray and ask for healing. In Matthew 7:7-11, Jesus tells us: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!".
Today’s Affirmation: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Despair. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Joy. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).
Scripture Reference (ESV): Luke 9:10-11; Revelation 22:1-3; 2 Chronicles 7:14-16; Psalms 85:1-13.

God Brings Joy into Our Lives by Transforming Our Lives
Monday Apr 02, 2018
Monday Apr 02, 2018
This Sunday’s Sermon: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: “The Resurrection: Part 1”, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/.
Message Summary: The Disciples did not get to their life roles without much grief and anguish, but Jesus transformed their lives. God addresses impossible situations in our lives, too; and then He transforms our lives, through His grace, into something of beauty. Jesus summarizes His transformation of both our earthly lives and our eternal lives in John 11:25-27: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?’ She said to him, ‘Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.’”. Jesus' Cross was an impossible situation, but now we view the Cross as a sign of triumph -- our triumph as believers and followers of Jesus!
Today’s Affirmation: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Fear. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Faithfulness. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).

Easter Message from Archbishop Foley Beach
Sunday Apr 01, 2018
Sunday Apr 01, 2018
Sunday Sermon Note: You can listen to Archbishop Beach’s Current Sunday Sermon: The Resurrection: Part 1, at our Website: www.AWordFromTheLord.org/listen/.
Message Summary: Message Summary: Today, millions of Christians have gathered to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus the Christ. Why do most Christians take Easter and the Resurrection so seriously? Christians believe that the Crucifixion and Resurrection, as a fulfillment of God’s New Covenant for our Salvation, are real. Jesus said to Martha in John 11:25-26: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die . . .’”. Eighty percent of non-believers say that they are willing to engage in a conversation about Jesus, yet, we Christians are not engaging in conversations about Jesus and the Gospel. On this day of the greatest good news ever (i.e. the Gospel), just share it! He has Risen!
Today’s Affirmation: Today, I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM A CHILD OF GOD. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. (John 1:12f).
