The Enemy {Satan} Is Always Attempting to Destroy Jesus’ Followers’ Relationship with God
MESSAGE SUMMARY:
The enemy {Satan} comes to destroy the fruit of the Lord's field. The enemy comes only to kill, to steal, or to destroy. In Matthew 13:39, Jesus explains who “the enemy” is: “and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.". You always must be alert for the presence of the enemy in your life -- he never sleeps; and he is always attempting to mess you up. In John 10:10, Jesus explains the fundamental difference between Himself and the enemy: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.". Foremost, the enemy is attempting to destroy your relationship with God.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be anxious. (Philippians 4:6f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14).
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): Matthew 13:39; Luke 10:19; John 10:10; Psalms 85:1-13.

What Has Been Sown in Your Heart; and By Whom?
Wednesday Dec 04, 2019
Wednesday Dec 04, 2019
MESSAGE SUMMARY: Certain men, whose condemnation was written about long ago, have secretly slipped in among us (i.e. into Christian institutions); they are Godless men who changed the Grace of our God into a license for immorality and denied Jesus as the Christ. In the Parables of Mathew 13:19, Jesus tells us: “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.”. Jesus’ “Parable of the Sower”, in Mathew 13:18-23, applies to us and offers us a challenge to live the Christian faith, or not? Before His Ascension, Jesus instructed His Apostles, and us, in His Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20: “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”. Are we going to follow Jesus and obey his Great Commission to “make disciples”, or not?
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will live as Jesus would. (Philippians 1:27). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14).

MESSAGE SUMMARY: The enemy is always at work seeking to destroy the fruit of the Lord’s field and your life. In John10:10, Jesus tells us: “The thief {enemy} comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”. In 1 Peter 5:8, Peter tells you more about your enemy who is always with you: “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil {enemy} prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”. Continue to remember that the enemy is always attempting to mess you up and to destroy your witness. Also, the enemy is always attempting to destroy your relationship with God and to get you to reject God. The enemy does his evil in subtle ways, but his purpose is clear -- the enemy wants you off the right path. The enemy is always at work, and he never sleeps.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM A CHILD OF GOD. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. (John 1:12f).
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): John10:10-18;1 Peter 5:8-11; Ephesians 4:26-32; Psalms 50b:13-23.

The Enemy Is Always Working Among Us Seeking to Destroy
Thursday May 17, 2018
Thursday May 17, 2018
Message Summary The enemy is always at work seeking to destroy the fruit of the Lord’s field. In John 10:10-11, Jesus tells us that the enemy is always active and seeking only “to steal, kill, and to destroy”: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.". In 1 Peter 5:8-9, Peter tells us that the enemy goes around “like a roaring lion seeking to devour”: “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.". The enemy never sleeps, and he is constantly attempting to mess us up and to destroy our relationship with God. The enemy tries to get us to doubt God – he may do his work in subtle ways, but he wants us off the righteous path.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Past Failures. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Grace. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
